The Roper YMCA has been a destination for summer campers for many decades, but this year will present exciting new offerings. There are more options to choose from than ever before. It pays to be a member with deep savings for programs on Plus and Max tiers.

Summer Camps!!

  • ELEMENTARY CAMP: Now is the best time to guarantee your child’s spot for our Y Summer Camp. Starting the week of May 28 from 7 a.m.-6 pm., campers will participate in jam-packed fun and engaging curriculum including sports, team building competitions, performing arts, crafts, STEM, aquatics, field trips and more! Each of the 11 weeks of camp will have its own unique theme with the first 10 weeks predominantly taking place at West Orange High School. Weekly and Recurring options for all the weeks available.   • NEW SPECIALTY CAMPS THIS YEAR! Along with our traditional day camp, we’re also offering Specialty Camp that focus on areas that interest youth. Camp is run at the Family Center from 12-4 p.m. with wraparound before and after care available for an additional cost.

      • Basketball
      • Volleyball
      • Esports & Pokemon

  • Leaders In Training (LIT): Our LIT program at the Roper YMCA is a progressive, experiential, educational course designed to help young people develop their awareness and basic skills of youth work, enhanced with an intentional leadership development design. Sessions start May 28 and run through August 2 weekdays from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Open to Seventh Grade-Ninth Grade. Those interested must go through an interview process before registering as space is limited.
