Centre for Dance and the Performing Arts is a full-service dance education facility dedicated to the whole-child development and age-appropriate content for ages 3 to adult.
I'm Dr. Kathryn Austin, the Director of CDPA and I would love to have you and your children join us this summer! We have options for the whole family.
- I offer a half-day "My First Dance Camp" experience twice during the summer on Saturday mornings June 22 and June 29. These are $60, no dance experience necessary and it is for kids, ages 3- 5.
- During the weeks of June 10, 17 and 24, from 9am-3pm, kids ages 5 and older can participate in the weekly camps that cost $165 per week. Campers of all experience levels will have a morning gathering activity, followed by a dance class, refreshments, and a morning theme-related craft. Campers bring their own lunch and eat together while enjoying storytime and theme-related movie time. Afternoons are dedicated to additional dance class, choreography, creative expression and performance preparation for the end of week show!
- Join us for Lads and Lassies Camp July 1-3rd where everyone is Scottish for 3 days of dance, music, castle building and all "Things Scottish!" The flyer for this camp is below.

Interested in the six-week classes? We also have CDPA Summer Nights which is a full offering of dance classes or all ages and levels including adults. Classes run Monday through Thursday evenings, from June 10 - July 18 and are $75 per class for the 6-week session. We also offer an Unlimited Class Family Package! See the schedule below.
