This week's WIWO was a tricky one! If you guessed the Healthy West Orange Wellness Park, give yourself a high five! You really know your local spots! This gem of a park officially opened on February 14, 2023, and is nestled right across from the Ocoee Police Department at 1320 S Bluford Ave.
On March 8th, the park was buzzing with excitement as it hosted the Healthy West Orange Ocoee Block Party! Residents gathered for an afternoon of fun, fitness, and community spirit. The event was packed with activities, including fitness sessions, a rock-climbing wall, health resources, Fun Bus, and even a chance to "Paint a Cop Car!" Plus, the Ocoee High School band brought the energy with their lively performance. |  |
 | This five-acre park is a dream for outdoor lovers. It features a half-mile, 10-foot-wide multipurpose trail that loops around serene ponds, making it the perfect place for a stroll, run, or bike ride. But that’s not all—there are four shaded wellness stations equipped with 10 different exercise machines that offer a whopping 60 strength and training exercises! And here’s a cool feature: each piece of equipment has a QR code that connects to a fitness app, so you can track your workouts like a pro! |
The park is open daily from 7 AM to 10 PM, so there’s plenty of time to squeeze in a workout or a relaxing walk. |  |
